December 05, 1952 - Abbott and Costello

"The Abbott and Costello Show" premiered on this date in 1952. Bud Abbott and Lou Costello made 52 half-hour films for television incorporating many of their best burlesque routines. Their original names were William Alexander Abbott and Louis Francis Cristillo. After their final film, Dance with Me, Henry (1956), Abbott and Costello went their separate ways.

I remembered I watched "Dance with Me, Henry" when I was very young. I think I need to watch again to refresh my memory myself, which was pretty interesting that time in the sense that though I couldn't understand what the film was about but I was just glued to the TV with no apperant reason... hm...
