Miami

Nicknamed the “Capital of Latin America”, Miami is considered as the second largest U.S metropolis with a Spanish-speaking majority. It is also referred as the most Latin city in the world north of Mexico, with its vibrant and diverse mix of Cuban, Columbian and Haitian cultures, to name a few. Be it the turquoise waters of the Biscayne Bay or the fun mix of nightlife, history and culture in the along the sands of the South Beach, Miami is a city that cannot be missed.

The South Beach (lovingly dubbed SoBe) enjoys patronage from young and old visitors alike. While there are luxury lounges and high-end dance clubs (many of which operate until dawn) at night; during the day one can indulge in the various cultural and natural offerings, like the Miami City Ballet, Holocaust Memorial of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, New World Symphony, and the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. The coral reefs of Biscayne Bay also encourage water sports like snorkeling and scuba diving.

Everglades National Park

Spanning about 1.5 million acres, Everglades is the Mecca for the adventure traveler and wildlife enthusiast. It offers canoe and hiking trails, airboat and tram tours, camping and bird-watching expeditions. The delicate ecosystem is one of a kind with alligators, crocodiles, falcons, turtles and panthers thrown into the mix.

The Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge, lying on the western edge, comprises of mangroves and provides shelter to some of the endangered animals.

Walt Disney World

One of the largest theme parks in the world, Walt Disney World is every child’s (and the child within every adult’s) dream-come-true. There are four main theme parks (Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom) and two water parks (Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon) completed with themed-hotels within the resort. Yes that’s how huge it is! Whether it is the awestruck and happiest face of a child or a particular turn in some roller coaster or while riding on the horse-drawn carriage down the Main Street, Walt Disney World engages the imagination and sparks inspiration throughout.
